lyrics: Let me tell you what I wish I’d known When I was young and dreamed of glory: You have no control: Who lives, who dies, who tells your story I know that we can win I know that greatness lies in you But remember from here on in History has its Eyes on you.

VOTE HERE.

It's time! I know we've all been excited to start voting for the Three Year Awards. The poll will close on the 27th April (or before if you're very fast!) and any tiebreaker polls will be posted after that. Then of course, after that we will announce the winners, and as said before, your characters have the chance to win reputation points, stars and a spot in our hall of fame!

There is a minor change to the voting this time around! In some (most) categories you will be able to pick two options, if you're unsure there is a helpful message on each category telling you how many to pick, or you're free to ask myself or Jade and we will be happy to help you!

That being said we do ask one thing of you. Please try to vote for other people, we want this to be a fair process and voting for yourself isn't in the spirit of the mystical Three Years Awards!

Finally, don't forget once you have voted we require you to post in this topic here+ so we can ensure everyone gets their points correctly!

Happy voting!

TOP EARNERS.

This month's awards for best snow person builders are: Oliver Preston (3 points), Sebastien Devlin (3 points), Finley Hodges (2 points), and Gerard Knox (2 points). You guys win a cute star in your mini-profile and your faces gloriously pasted in the header.

This month's total amount of points earned was a spring filled 87, which is also the amount of times I've gotten the time wrong thanks to daylight savings.

STAFF PICK.

This month after lots of getting distracted by the Easter bunny, we finally managed to make a decision! This month's staff pick is Joel Arthur!

The newest of Gerard's pack members, Meghan has taken a canon character and made him her own! Since the moment Joel has been on the board, he's been a fun and interesting character to interact with, especially for our werewolves! From his want to help and advise the younger werewolves, to his immediate friendships, he's definitely been someone who has an immediate fun, and interesting sense of humour to play off of! Meghan has also started to cultivate a story line in his love life and past, that is definitely worth watching out for! I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say Joel is definitely a character to watch and someone to plot with, and we can't wait to see where he goes next!

Joel gets an award in his mini profile, his face in the header, and a lifetime supply of alcohol! Feel free to congratulate the winners in this topic!

[dohtml]

activity check #35.

Everyone's favourite part of RPing: activity checks! This activity check is super simple, read the rules, fill out the form, and you're done!

1. You'll need one thread per character that you have posted in since the 1st of March. This does not include tech or AU threads, but does include open threads, oneshots, finished and unfinished threads. The thread does not have to correspond to the character. For example, if Character B is very new or hasn't posted in a while, but Character A has two eligible threads, then you can use one of Character A's threads to cover Character B.

2. This is the place to drop characters. It's obviously a little disheartening to lose characters, but we understand that real life exists or that muse is lost.

3. If you've posted an absence, your characters are except from this check. You can, however, post a link to your absence notice in lieu of threads, if you're online and able to.

4. If you create a character after the start date of this activity check, your character is exempt from the check.

5. If you miss the check and wish to remain active, please PM an admin immediately to have your stuff moved back. You may have to redo your claims.

6. This check closes on the 30th March.

7. We're not heartless. If you need special circumstances, any kind of help or exemption, let us know and we'll work it out.

8. Any threads that haven't been replied to in two months will be archived. If we archive a thread you would still like to be active, please let a member of staff know and they will move it back provided it is replied to as soon as possible.

9. Please note any threads you would not like archived at the end of the month in the provided space on the form. Any member on absence will have their threads automatically saved regardless. Please try to only link threads you owe posts to, out of politeness to your partner and to save everyone linking the same threads.

In order to become a vampire, you must have five points on your account to be eligible (these points will be removed when you are turned). If you do, fill out the appropriate form below.

Please note that the north coven will not accept new vampires into their fold, but do accept transfers from other covens if the vampire has more than forty vampire years. The East Coven will also accept new vampires, however, only with a dead hunter as tribute. However, turning is a gamble, and there is a 50/50 chance of becoming a vampire, alternatively you may end up dying and becoming a ghost instead, please be aware of this when turning.

If you wish to sign up to be a vampire sire, please fill out the appropriate form.

All parties who sign up will receive a PM detailing what will happen to their character.

BECOMING A WITCH'S APPRENTICE.

This is not the place to sign up to join a coven. More information on that can be found in the witches topic in the member groups forum. This is, however, the place to sign up to become an apprentice or to take on an apprentice. Description on each tutor are below, so you can note a preference for a tutor, if you have one. You will need two reputation points in order to apply for an apprenticeship.

All parties who sign up will receive a PM detailing what will happen to their character.

Current Tutors
Christian Alcott - a healer witch by trade, Christian can also offer a good basis in dark, elemental or protection magic, depending on the student. He had been learning magic since he was a small child, has been a member of the circle for more than a decade, and is quite eager to share his knowledge with students, although they should be aware that between his various commitments, they will expected to do more self-directed study than traditional apprenticeships. He can take up to two students.

Esme De Luca - Esme is an elements witch, mostly self taught but comes from a big witching family. She's the leader of the circle of seven elements circle, and generally very talented in all things elements. She can take up to three witches, help them with both general and elements specific magic should they wish to specialise that way. She will take any student that is enthusiastic and willing to work to her schedule.

Honey Hope - Honey has been a healer for years now, and other than basic magic that's really where her strength is. She can offer a student practical experience in the field as well as basic magic training, she'll be best with students who want to go into healing, but she can also give anyone basic training to go on to specialize with another witch later. She'll take on as many apprentices as she can, quite possibly literally anyone who asks she will give her time to.

Jillian Cassiopeia - Jillian is a member of the London Coven with particular expertise in Alchemy, especially in tweaking existing spells to be more efficient and has quite the intuitive mind. She can assist with basics for most magic types given her experience and give them enough guidance to move on from her (unless they prefer shapeshifting or alchemy themselves). She's a very supportive and easy going tutor and will pull out all the stops to ensure you succeed. She can take up to four apprentices at a time, but prefers to keep two to three so she can devote more time to them.

Liam Heart - a member of the London Coven for over a year, he will take on a student who wishes to become well-versed in dark magic or will teach rudimentary magic tricks in preparation for the apprentice to move on to a tutor more suited to their needs.

Lucy Harmon - Lucy is a member of the primus circle and runs the circle auditions, finds herself dabbling in all kinds of magic, but specializes in illusion and conjuration, but has some experience in the other type. when she's not busy with her magic, she works in her art gallery and offers her apprentices jobs within the gallery if they so desire, as long as they display great work ethic and can put up with her own busy schedule

Please note sign ups this month will close on the 23rd february
